Who is eligible?
- Students from New Caledonia, French Polynesia, Wallis & Futuna
- 5 Master’s students from New Caledonia and French Polynesia each year
- 1 Bachelor’s student from Wallis & Futuna
Benefits include:
- Full tuition fees
- Return flights to and from Australia
- Health insurance (OSHC)
- Living allowance
- Establishment allowance for accommodation, textbooks, and study materials
- Pre-course English programs (if required)
- Academic support and fieldwork for research-based programs
Conditions:
- Scholars must agree to a contract with the Australian Government
- Must return to their home country for at least two years after completing studie

Decide how to apply
Online application (preferred in most countries):
Use the application portal linked in your country profile.
When registering online, you will receive a unique registration number, username, and password.
You can save a draft application and update it along with supporting documents until the closing date.
Once submitted, applications cannot be changed, so ensure everything is complete before submission.
Avoid leaving it to the last minute: OASIS traffic increases near the deadline, which may cause delays.

Check your country profile for instructions and contact details to request a hardcopy application form.

2- Province Sud – University Mobility Assistance in Australia
The Province Sud offers financial support to help students study in partner Australian universities, currently including The University of Queensland and James Cook University.
Who is eligible?
- French nationals residing in Province Sud for at least 3 years
- Aged under 27 at January 1 of the academic year
- Pursuing an initial university degree (Bachelor’s or higher)
- Willing to work in New Caledonia for 5 years within 12 years after graduation
Scholarship benefits:
- 20–25% tuition discount from the university
- Province Sud covers 50% of the remaining tuition fees
- Students pay only 37.5–40% of the original tuition cost
- Monthly allowance of 30,000 CFP for unpaid study programs
Requirement
- Submit annual grade transcripts and proof of residency
- Demonstrate a clear professional plan
- Repay support if conditions are not met (unjustified repetition, unilateral changes, etc.)

- Submit required documents: ID, proof of residence, transcripts, bank details, and professional project
